William "Bill" Ambrose Neu, Jr., age 75 passed away Monday, March 30, 2015. Born in Rayne Louisiana, and raised in Hamshire, Texas. He was a Metallurgist who was passionate about his family, loved reading, travelling, the outdoors, was an avid sports fan, and an active member of the YMCA who never slowed down. We looked forward to his smile everyday. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Ambrose, Sr. and Esther Rose Neu; and brothers, Joe Neu & wife Amy and Mike Neu. He was a Metallurgist who was passionate about his family, loved reading, travelling, the outdoors, was an avid sports fan, and an active member of the YMCA who never slowed down. We looked forward to his smile everyday. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Ambrose, Sr. and Esther Rose Neu; and brothers, Joe Neu & wife Amy and Mike Neu. Survived by son, Keith Neu and wife Yukari Watanabe; daughter, Denise Neu and partner Jay Lemery; grandchildren, Tigerlily Bogart, Mia Markese, Nicolas, Harrison, and Ella Rose Neu Kelm; sisters, Jane Thibodeaux, Thelma Loper and husband John, Mary Rollins and husband Scott, Jackie Stumpf and husband Fred; brother, Randy Neu and wife Kathy; sister-in-law, Karen Reiger; travelling buddy, Alice Andrepont; numerous nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church, 11507 Huffmeister Rd., Houston, Texas 77065, followed by a reception at the church. A Graveside Service will be held later the same day at 4:00 p.m., Fairview Cemetery, west of Hwy 124, in Winnie, Texas.
