Walter H. Weaver, 86 years young of Houston, Texas went to be with HIs Lord on September 10, 2017. He was born on October 13. 1930 in Amory, Mississippi to James Walter Weaver and Molly Edna Chism. He graduated from Sam Houston State University in 1951, and was enlisted in the U.S. Air Force Technical training school for Airborne Radio Operators where he served from 1951 - 1955. Walter was a radio operator instructor at Randolf Air force base. He was stationed in Seoul, Korea where he flew psychological warfare missions. He completed seventy five...

Walter H. Weaver, 86 years young of Houston, Texas went to be with HIs Lord on September 10, 2017. He was born on October 13. 1930 in Amory, Mississippi to James Walter Weaver and Molly Edna Chism. He graduated from Sam Houston State University in 1951, and was enlisted in the U.S. Air Force Technical training school for Airborne Radio Operators where he served from 1951 - 1955. Walter was a radio operator instructor at Randolf Air force base. He was stationed in Seoul, Korea where he flew psychological warfare missions. He completed seventy five missions and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and Air Medal. He was discharged in 1955, and received the "Korean Service Medal," the "United Nations Service Medal," "National Defense Medal," and an "Air Medal" with three oak leaf clusters. He was the proud owner of the "Distinguished Flying Cross" awarded to him for extraordinary achievement in participating in aerial flight with the 6167th Operations Squadron on February 15, 1953. After the Air Force, he started his career as an Air Traffic Controller and was stationed in San Juan, Puerto Rico where he met his beautiful wife and our Mother Ana Weaver. Their four children, James, Leslie, Annette, Vanessa and their foster daughter Esther along with their husbands. His six grandchildren, Taylor, Grace, Scout, Sophia, Knox and Vaughn adored their Papa as was very loving, caring and giving to each of them.
