Rose Patino Asaf was born on March 5th 1921 and passed away on November 5th 2017. She was the kindest, most loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother to her family. Family was the most important part of life to her, making sure that everyone was taken care of and was not participating in risky behaviors such as driving at 8pm. Also a devout Catholic and longtime member of St. John Neumann, she would spend an hour every night saying her rosary and praying for everyone she loved. Rose Patino Asaf was born on March 5th 1921 and passed away on November 5th 2017. She was the kindest, most loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother to her family. Family was the most important part of life to her, making sure that everyone was taken care of and was not participating in risky behaviors such as driving at 8pm. Also a devout Catholic and longtime member of St. John Neumann, she would spend an hour every night saying her rosary and praying for everyone she loved. She enjoyed cooking, with her specialty being Mexican food and tamales, loved to laugh and make others laugh, enjoyed attending silver sneakers at the YMCA, and always stayed positive and strong even when she was losing so many that she cared deeply for.

Rose was preceded in death by her husband Jesse, daughter Shirley Thacker, mother Guadalupe Cordova, father Benito Patino, four brothers and two sisters. She is survived by two sons, Jesse Jim Asaf and wife Syble and Robert Asaf; grandchildren Shelley, Amberly Wilson and husband Matthew, and Jesse Jim Jr.; great granddaughter Megan, brother Charles Patino; numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved Pomeranian Paris.
